In our Federation, we can be ourselves while also accepting and enjoying challenges, taking responsibility for our own learning, working together and supporting one another.
We encourage all members of our Federation to pursue excellence in all spheres of life and to live life to the fullest.
Our four basic principles are reflected in our vision and mission statements, which are solidly grounded in Christian theology.
We must be a compassionate community if we are to ensure that our Federation is a "safe place" for the entire community.

We need assistance instilling in everyone a spirit of resilience where people understand that it is okay to make mistakes and that it takes persistence to learn anything new in order to ensure that the members of our community are "striving to be the best they can be."

When Ruth's life is turned upside down by the deaths of her husband and his brother, her tenacity is demonstrated in the story.
She is allowed to start a new life in Israel after her new community recognises her kindness for her mother-in-law.
Educating for compassion, community, and coexistence places a strong emphasis on interpersonal interactions, community involvement, and character traits that promote coexistence.
We work to create a culture where students and staff can grow in empathy and respect for one another in order to learn how to create a sense of community. We do this by incorporating our school's values—Courage, Resilience, Compassion, and Respect—into everything we do.
Our message is that learning is a lifelong endeavour and that both children and adults can learn.
As this is how we learn, we practise this in our Federation in a setting that is both physically safe and permits mistakes to be made in safety.
We have control over our education; we get to decide what and how we want to learn.
We can all work together to learn.
