BCUS has a set of 12 ideals that we endeavour to live by on a daily basis. We consider it essential for children's growth to be taught the concept of values. Over the course of a two-year rolling programme, each value is discussed in class and during assemblies every half-term. In Year Four, the students take the Bedford Faith Tour to Queens Park, where they spend a single day touring a sizable church, a mosque, and a Sikh Gurdwara. Despite being a religious school, we take pleasure in the fact that families of Christians, people of other religions, and those of no faith are all made to feel welcome.

The Every Child Matters Award and the Inclusion Quality Mark were earned by St. Andrew's School. We provide for all children's requirements, which range widely and include social and behavioural concerns. Our specialised SEND Team cares for the children in our Language Provision programme, and our team regularly receives SEND update training.
