We are St Andrews Church of England Infant School in Great Linford, one of six schools that make up the Village Schools Federation, along with Emberton School, North Crawley CE School, Stoke Goldington CE School, Newton Blossomville CE School, and St Andrews CE School.
As Executive Headteacher of the Village Schools Federation, which consists of the St. Andrews CE Infant, Stoke Goldington, North Crawley, Newton Blossomville, Sherington, and Emberton schools, I am honoured to serve.
After I assumed the position of Head in January 2018, Mrs. M. Younger, our Executive Deputy Headteacher, joined us in September.
One Governing Board member of the Village Schools Federation is passionate about the distinctive opportunities that tiny village schools like St Andrew's provide students.
The Governor's passion for local village schools inspired the formation of the federation in order to safeguard their future and maintain opportunities for individualised instruction in small classes with high adult-to-student ratios and an enriched curriculum that uses the local area, the local environment, and the students' experiences and interests in addition to the national curriculum.
Milton Keynes' Great Linford village is where St Andrew's is located.
As one parent said, "Thank you for making our time at Andrew's so great. Teaching is a privilege at St. Andrew's CE School, and learning is a delight.
Please call the office to set up a time if you would like to come by and observe us in action; you are more than welcome.
The secret to living in harmony and carrying out God's plan is teamwork.
Work diligently at all you do as if you were working for the Lord.
