At Springhead Park Primary School, we believe that in order for kids to succeed in school and beyond, they should enjoy learning, be inspired to reach their full potential, and have faith in their capacity to make a positive difference in the world, whether it be in their local community or somewhere else. For us, it's crucial that our kids grow up to be confident, capable, inquisitive, imaginative, and compassionate members of the community and our school. Our children will endeavour to better their local or global communities after graduation from Springhead Park Primary. Children will achieve high academic levels and comprehend how to use their knowledge and abilities in a larger context. Their education will not only take place in the classroom but will also be brought to life through a thematic curriculum that offers a variety of enrichment opportunities, such as motivational speakers, neighbourhood improvement projects, frequent technology use, and a hands-on, practical teaching approach. By employing this strategy, we hope to inspire our students' natural curiosity about the world and strengthen their perseverance when seeking solutions. Kolb's Learning Cycle is a superb pedagogical paradigm that serves as the foundation for this tactic. Since learning happens outside of the classroom as well, we will take the kids to a variety of locations, events, and partnerships to deepen their comprehension of or contribute to the subjects they have studied. Our kids will learn about the possibilities the world has to offer, which will motivate and inspire them to take action and make a difference in the world and their own future. At Springhead Park, supplemental technology will be used in a variety of subject areas to help students become comfortable and adaptive while using a variety of applications while also teaching them to be cautious of the dangers of the digital world.
