Children who live in South Marston and the surrounding region can receive a high-quality pre-school education thanks to the establishment of South Marston Pre-school. The school and its Governing Council are in charge of running the Pre-school. Both the Pre-school and the Reception class fall under the purview of the EYFS leader. As a result of the kids' participation in Friday's Celebration Assembly and familiarity with the school, there is a seamless transition between the two. We are also in regular contact with the local church. Ample space is provided for the Pre-School both indoors and outside. A "wild area," which is good for enhancing children's learning, has just been added to the outdoor space. The newest interactive board in their classroom is well-liked by the kids. Together, we organise tours to interesting locations and share a lot of information with the Reception class. The Early Years Foundation Stage, which establishes criteria for children's learning, development, and care, is followed by the Pre-school. Each child will have a key person assigned to them who will communicate with the family and support them as they grow through the Early Years Foundation Stage. Weekly reading materials are brought home by the kids for the parents' enjoyment and sharing. The Parents Information Folders, which are kept outside of the classroom, contain all the pertinent information, facts, and rules. Whilst South Marston Pre-school is part of South Marston C of E Primary School, no preferential treatment regarding admissions to the school is conferred on students attending the pre-school. Please get in touch with the school directly to request admission to the preschool. For admission to Reception, please contact Swindon School Admissions.
