We give each of our kids the best possible start in life, assist their parents and carers, and remain active in the neighbourhood.
We are a welcoming, supportive, and caring school with a "family feel," where staff and students collaborate in a climate of respect and trust and where each child's uniqueness is acknowledged.
We work to ensure that our children grow to have high levels of self-esteem and pleasure in their accomplishments, a love of learning and a spirit of inquiry. We think that all children should be encouraged to reach their greatest potential cognitively, academically, creatively, and emotionally.
Three miles south of Nantwich in a lovely rural area, Sound & District Primary School serves students between the ages of 4 and 11 years old.
The institution was founded in 1876 and was first known as Broomhall Board School before changing its name to Sound Council School.
Our wonderfully involved and helpful PTA helped us finish our new classroom in April 2013 and build a school parking lot on Wrenbury Heath Road.
A popular private nursery, Sounds Active, is also located on the school premises and provides breakfast club and after-school care in addition to catering to pre-schoolers during the week.
In reading, writing, and math, we outperformed Cheshire East and National in our academic year 2017–18 at Key Stages 1 and 2.
We understand that including parents, carers, and the larger community in every element of school life is the only way we can ensure the best outcomes for each of our kids.
We work hard to make sure that every one of our students feels safe, content, and cared for while attending our school so that they can grow up to be future global citizens who are eloquent, self-assured, and compassionate members of our community.
