Some of the remarks people have made regarding Somerford School, students, and staff are available on this page.
We are thrilled that other individuals share our pride in our school and our students.
I wanted to send you a letter to express my gratitude for providing my daughter with such a wonderful year at Somerford.
After our transfer from Wiltshire last year, she had the most amazing year at Somerford before leaving to join her younger sister at another school.
I want to thank Mrs. Gaines, who taught my daughter for the majority of Year 2, as well as Miss Briant for their dedication, optimism, and excitement.
We are happy with her progress and the joy she showed every day when picked up from school. She has grown in the last year and emerged as a confident, passionate learner.
I'd want to send my best wishes to the faculty and students at the institution for the future."
As I'm sure you are already aware, I called the school today to inform them that my daughter, who started Year 6 this month, has recently received an offer of a place at another Christchurch school based on an appeal. As a result, she will regrettably be leaving Somerford at the end of this week.
Though I'm sure I'll run into the class teacher over the next days, I really wanted to express my sincere gratitude to All the Staff at Somerford, who have gone above and beyond to make my daughter feel at home and happy at the school.
She enjoys her class, her PA job, playing the violin, and many other minor things. I just wanted to let you know that we wouldn't have considered moving her if the other Christchurch school was closer to us than Somerford - a 15-minute walk as opposed to a 45-minute journey in traffic.
The school has undoubtedly had an influence, even though she has only recently joined you, and she will be sad to leave."
We just wanted to express our gratitude for the Somerford Primary School students' visit to the Red House Museum.
I simply wanted to congratulate you on receiving the grade "good" in the most recent Osted inspection.
Since the 2014 report, there has been a significant improvement, and it is abundantly evident from the report that this is a result of the diligence and dedication you all have shown to the welfare and education of my children.
If there is anything that parents or individuals can do to support the school's success, "excellent," then don't hesitate to ask.
It was a pleasure being involved In the Year One & Two Assembly and I hope the children enjoyed it as much as I did.
Both their behaviour and the variety of questions they asked really pleased me.
Really pleased to have met you and the children who were all impeccably behaved and a credit to the school.".

A fantastic school. My son has been so happy here after a move from another school in the area where he was being picked on. The teachers are lovely and they personally welcome each child through the gates each morning. Thoroughly recommend this school.
