I'd like to present myself as the principal of the fantastic educational facility known as the Skegby Junior Academy, which is a part of the Greenwood Dale Foundation Trust.
Our curriculum gives kids the crucial experiences they need to advance their knowledge and understanding of arithmetic and English, encounter the outside world, and continue to learn what it means to be a SMART person.
We believe in smart kids as well as the abbreviation SMART.
High standards for behaviour, attendance, and dress contribute to the Skegby Junior Academy's reputation as a peaceful and effective workplace.
As we encourage the various skills, attitudes, and knowledge that this provides, Forest School also enables our students to explore and work outdoors.
We strive to make the most of our lovely grounds, which we are fortunate to have.
Being a "Active and Healthy" academy, we also make extensive use of the grounds for sporting events.
We strive to create a strong partnership with parents and other carers while also helping our kids learn how to operate in groups.
Regular chances for parents and carers to visit the academy and support what we do include open afternoons, special events, class assemblies, Golden assemblies, parent courses, and the Friends of SJA club.
We strive to provide our students with the finest education possible with the help of parents, guardians, and the local community.
