Our goal at Singleton C of E Primary School is to give our students a well-rounded education in a positive learning environment.

When the present Head Teacher assumed her position in 2010, Ofsted rated our school as a satisfactory school with little need for improvement.
Our school was consequently added to the Ofsted monitoring register.
We have been acknowledged as one of the nation's top performing schools since 2012.
In 2012, we received a letter from David Laws MP complimenting us on our accomplishments and outlining how our school was among the top-performing primary schools in the county due to the success of our students and their outstanding rates of advancement in both math and English.
We received a second letter from David Laws MP in 2013, this time complimenting us on our outstanding performance and stating that we were among the top 105 primary schools in England out of more than 15000.
In 2014, we received a letter from Ben Wallace MP congratulating us on coming in sixth position out of more than 15,500 schools on The Times performance list.
Out of 15,500 schools, we were ranked 6th overall and first in Lancashire.
We received a letter from Nicky Morgan, MP, in January 2016 praising our accomplishments.
We were inspected in 2017 and received a "Outstanding" rating from Ofsted in every category.
Ofsted found that:-.
Nick Gibb, a member of parliament, wrote to our school in 2018 to express his congratulations on all students meeting or exceeding the required standard in reading and mathematics at the conclusion of Key Stage 2.
According to him, this places our school in the top 1% of primary schools in England for reading and math achievement.
We once again achieved great results in reading and mathematics at the end of Key Stage 2, placing us in the top 1% of English primary schools, according to Hon. Damian Hinds.
