Exe Valley Federation is a member of Silverton Primary School.
Just west of Exeter, Silverton School is located on the outskirts of the Silverton hamlet.
The school has four mixed-age sections and serves students from 4 to 11 years old.
We were established by the Church of England since we are a Church of England school, and we still have close ties to the Christian community.
In the term before the students start, preschoolers and their leaders visit the school.
The majority of students that graduate from our school in Year 6 enrol at Broadclyst's Clyst Vale Community College.
The smoothest possible transition from secondary school is made possible by our strong ties to Clyst Vale.
Compost for the school grounds is created by the students, faculty, and staff using compost containers whose contents are combined with other food waste.
This tries to cut down on how much rubbish the school generally sends to the landfill.
We use photovoltaic cells to produce renewable electricity, which accounts for around 5% of the school's annual electrical needs.
