A three-form entry primary school called Sidegate may be found in Ipswich, Suffolk, to the north. 90 children are admitted to the school for each year group. When a child turns five, they begin school in the academic year that runs from September 1 to August 31. The "Reception Year" refers to this period. They attend elementary school for seven more years, graduating when they are 11 years old. Additionally, the school offers daycare for kids as young as two years old in two Specialist Support Classes that can accommodate 25 primary-aged students with challenging learning challenges. Cabin Crew, a nearby independent provider that offers before- and after-school care as well as a holiday club, supports the school. Little Acorns Pre-School, which offers daycare for kids as young as two, shares space with Cabin Crew. Northgate and Copleston High Schools are fed by the school. To facilitate a smooth transition for students transferring from Year 6 to Year 7, we maintain strong relationships with both institutions. The institution is housed on a sizable campus and has excellent resources. We have huge playing areas and playgrounds, a heated indoor pool, a spacious library/learning area, wi-fi throughout the school, and a good number of netbooks, laptops, desktop computers, and tablets.
