My daughter is very happy at this school. The children are well cared for and respect each other. I love the fact that all age groups interact with each other. Small class sizes mean excellent support for children.
Shepton is a fantastic school. Children are known and seen and cared for by creative, happy staff. My children have thrived there over the years, one a school refused who settled, another who wakes up looking forward to going to school. Kindness and respect are modelled and taught as equally important as academic learning. Small classes and a beautiful outdoor space set it apart.

I throughly recommend this school and can’t rate it highly enough. Yes it’s small but that is what makes it special and all my children have thrived here. The staff are excellent and get to know the children as individuals and also us as families. They are caring and have time to help all the children. I can’t remember a single day when my children haven’t wanted to go to school. They have grown into...

Can’t recommend this school highly enough! My children have had the best time and a really happy, caring school where small classes has meant an individual education where time is available to make sure they have understood everything. The staff are excellent and know my children so well and also get to know us as a family. Parents are made very welcome, it’s rather like a big family! My children are happy and confident and...
A delightful village school run by staff who really care about the children and have a great awareness of their individual needs. Small class sizes are an advantage academically and the mixing of ages means children can work with others of the same ability, not always age, therefore meaning they will reach their full potential. The mixing of ages is also beneficial socially and emotionally, children becoming more confident with older children or great role...
A lovely village school with excellent staff who have great awareness of each child's individual needs. Small class sizes therefore meaning the pupil's get the attention they need academically. The mixing of years also benefits the child as the work is appropriate for their ability not always age, ensuring they reach their full potential. The mixing of ages also helps the children socially, for example, the younger ones developing confidence with older children, and the...
Excellent small village school where the staff really care about the children and with fantastic staff to pupil ratios you can see this having a positive impact on the children. Mixed age group classes means that children are able to extend themselves by working with older children. The school is a real community where because of its small size all the pupils know each other across age groups. As a small village school the facilities...
