We appreciate you visiting our recently renovated website; we take great pride in the sense of community that permeates our village school. You'll notice a strong feeling of respect for one another and tolerance for our differences running through our school. Each class has a Code of Conduct that guides our high standards for all of our students' behaviour. There are about 260 students enrolled in the mixed-ability Shenley Primary School, ranging in age from 4 to 11 years. We accept 45 students per year group, and each class is led by a fully qualified teacher with the assistance of a certified teaching assistant. From Years 1 to Year 6, each class democratically elects a member to the Shenley School Parliament. These students play a crucial role in representing the opinions of their class on crucial choices that have an impact on our students. The children toured the Houses of Parliament as part of their job, and we were fortunate to have our local M.P. Oliver Dowden attend meetings with our school parliament for the past two years. Peer mediators, playground friends, and Year 6 prefects are additional school roles with duties. Everyone aspires to contribute positively to the school and the larger community. Encourage an environment where people can make friends and develop supportive relationships. When you enrol at Shenley School, you'll immediately sense how strongly the school community is anchored around you. I hope you experience the same happiness, unity, and inspiration that our children do.
