Welcome to the webpage for our school! I sincerely hope you can find some time to look around, learn a little bit about what Shaftesbury CE Primary School has to offer, and participate in our celebration of our successes. If you were to look at nothing else, I would direct you to the Class Pages as these contain the most important examples of the work that goes on here: the children's work!. The students at Shaftesbury Primary are at the centre of everything we do every day, as they are at most schools, of course. Our ethos is grounded on Christian ideals that support our Church of England identity and is centred on inspiration in all areas. We want to INSPIRE as a learning community that includes the kids, their families, and our staff. are Self-Reliant, Never Quit, Shine, Positively Participate, Celebrate Individuality, Reach for the stars, Explore, and Excite. We actively promote a growth mindset within the learning community and consider both adults and children to be learners. To enable everyone to be their best selves, we collaborate. We are honoured to be a part of the Southern Academy Trust, which includes a number of local schools and has connections outside of Shaftesbury. If you would like to find out more about our school or the multi-academy trust we belong to then don't hesitate to get in contact and we'll do our best to answer all your questions. We appreciate you taking the time to read all the way down here! Click on this link to view one of my favourite Class Page postings from the previous year as a treat.
