Selwyn Primary School's mission statement as of January 2019.
Our school's goal for its students, their families, and the larger community is at its core.
Our conviction that primary education should enable kids to learn and develop in a tranquil, secure, joyful, and stimulating environment serves as the foundation for this goal.
We put a lot of effort into making sure that kids enjoy learning and are involved in it outside of the classroom by having them take part in the many co-curricular activities we have available.
The vision, beliefs, and strategic priorities of the Leading Learning Trust, of which our school is a member and sponsor, guide all we do at our institution.
For the purpose of ensuring that every student enrolled in one of our schools receives the best education possible, the paper available for download on this website gives additional information on our trust's Roadmap and Strategic Priorities for the years 2019 through 2023.
Every member of the school community should feel appreciated, respected, and treated fairly and properly. This is one of our school's main goals.
This method of operation has been condensed into the "5 Cs": consideration, courteous, care, and commitment.
At school, actions that uphold these principles are praised and rewarded.
We don't allow negative behaviour that goes against our beliefs.
