Our mission at Salmestone is to "Shape The Future of Young Minds." We want to give our kids the academic and interpersonal skills they need to succeed in life. Our own Nursery offers a great transition programme for kids getting ready to go into our Foundation Stage. Due to numerous recent upgrades, our facilities are well-maintained, light, and friendly. We are dedicated to educating our students for the 21st century and preparing them for the future. There is an interactive whiteboard in every lesson. We have portable laptops and netbooks that can be brought into any class in addition to a computer lab that can accommodate an entire class at once. We provide a variety of before and after school programmes in addition to a daily breakfast club. Salmestone staff members have high expectations for our students. We want to make learning fun for all of our kids, help them fall in love with learning, and build a community of self-assured, independent learners who are ready for secondary school and beyond. We encourage strong ties between home and school for all of our students and their families, and we have an open door policy for both existing and prospective parents. We think it's important for all of our kids that school and home operate well together. The provision of a secure and joyful learning environment for all of our students is at the core of this. The key to this is having pride in oneself and one's school as well as a sense of community and belonging.
