From the Romsey Primary School
We have the most devoted staff who always keep the kids' best interests in mind while making decisions, and the kids are amazing. We are fortunate to be one of the few schools in Hampshire with a properly maintained nursery, which enables us to nurture and motivate kids from birth to age eleven. We are a high-achieving school that offers all of our students an engaging, demanding, and innovative curriculum. Across all subject areas, teaching teams are dedicated to providing rich, authentic experiences, but notably in the performing, visual, and physical arts. Our school site and grounds are fantastic; we have a vibrant learning environment, spacious grounds with an adventure trail, our own pond and woodland area bursting with trees and bushes used for outdoor learning and play. 'The well-being of pupils is at the heart of this inclusive school' and we pride ourselves on building incredibly strong relationships with the children to really get the best out of everyone. Teachers are creative and are frequently at the forefront of new approaches to teaching and learning. Students enjoy attending school because "teachers make you feel smart." The children's behaviour is superb, and they consistently demonstrate a love of learning. 2018 (Ofsted). One of the school's key strengths is how strongly we all feel like we are a part of the "Romsey Family." We enjoy a strong PTA and positive ties to the local community and parents. However, don't take my word for it: come and visit us to see the children actively learning and playing and get a feel for what it is like to be part of our Romsey Family!.
