A strong three-way collaboration between the student, teacher, and parent has always been the cornerstone of a successful education.

The institution started off as a junior school in 1967.
It merged with the neighbourhood preschool in 1984 to establish Riverside Community Primary School.
There are six infant classes, eight junior classes, and a nursery that can house up to 26 kids at once.
Although Tadcaster itself is where the majority of the school's students reside, Stutton, Towton, and Newton Kyme are also served by Riverside.
We are a component of the STAR Teaching School Alliance, a group of academic institutions (Sherburn, Tadcaster and Rural).
