A mixed-age school for kids between the ages of 4 and 11, Risby Church of England Voluntary Controlled Primary School serves the community of Risby and the surrounding districts. Ofsted has twice given Risby School the "Outstanding" designation. We are an inclusive school dedicated to promoting equity and academic success for all students, and we have earned the International School Award in recognition of our dedication to a global education. As a "Storytelling School," we are the first institution in Suffolk to receive accreditation. We are proud of the ethos of our school and the opportunities and achievements we offer our children; the curriculum, the quality of teaching and learning, the wide range of enrichment activities provided and the academic results. The governing body actively supports the school's strategic orientation and shows active interest in it. Parents are actively involved in their children's education and are very supportive, with some providing frequent assistance in the classroom and others actively participating in the Parent Teacher Association. They collaborate with the faculty and school council to make improvements to the institution and guarantee that students receive a well-rounded education. In close collaboration with parents, governors, and staff, we hope to provide the kids with a positive learning environment that will help them reach their greatest potential. You can only get a very limited idea of what we attempt to do from this website, therefore we invite you to come see us in action by visiting the school. We always welcome visitors, and our kids will be ecstatic to see you.
