The Ringwood Waldorf School is located on the River Avon, close to the Hampshire and Dorset state lines. The picturesque New Forest and the historic port city of Southampton are located to the east, the Salisbury Plains to the north, and Bournemouth and the sea to the south. Children from this region and beyond, ranging in age from three to eighteen, join together to learn and develop. The School was established in 1974 and began with six students in a series of labourers' cottages called "Folly Farm." There are currently more than 210 students enrolled, and the school has just finished constructing an upper school science lab. One of the few purpose-built Waldorf Steiner schools in the UK is Ringwood Waldorf School. Ten classrooms, three kindergartens, a parent-child room, a large hall, and specific facilities for activities like art, music, handiwork, science, woodworking, and ecrythmy are all part of our facility. Parent and child groups accept parents and children as young as six months. organisations accept parents and infants as young as six months. Kindergartens for children ages 3 to 6. between 3 and 6 years Lower School, ages 6 to 14. 6 to 14 years old Upper School, for students aged 14 to 18. We encourage parents to visit the school and take an active interest in their children's education because we understand that children feel the safest when parents and teachers collaborate. Our goal is to create a vibrant school community.
