In 2017, Rickey Park underwent a rebranding process that included a new logo created by the students and the tagline "breaking the code of learning together," which symbolises our partnership and close proximity to the renowned Bletchley Park.
In the same year, Rickley Park welcomed a new leadership team, including new core subject leads and an experienced headteacher who joined us in September 2017 and April 2018. All of these individuals shared a commitment for raising standards and offering a world-class curriculum.
Change takes time to have a long-lasting effect, but we work hard every day to make sure that our students are happy, courteous, responsible, and safe. 2020 is expected to be the year with the best outcomes to date!
Our first priority is good mental health, but this does not imply constant joy.
Having a good mental health is all about being able to properly deal with the negative emotions that are a natural part of life.
In order to help our students succeed at dispute resolution both now and in the future, we have learning mentors who support them in the classroom. This term, we are also testing meditation as a behavioural control strategy.
