I'm pleased to extend a warm greeting to you on behalf of the students, teachers, and governors at Renhold VC Primary School.
Every student leaves us at the conclusion of Year 6 prepared to embrace the challenges of secondary school because our children, family, staff, and governors work closely together to create excellent learning opportunities.
The school's ethos is built on Christian principles, together with decency and diligence.
With a heavy emphasis on the fundamental skills of English and arithmetic, which have been externally validated by the Basic Skills Award, our curriculum seeks to enable children to develop the skills they need for later life.
Children are urged to take ownership of their education and to acquire knowledge and skills that will help them become better students.
We have received the Artsmark Silver Award and are a creative institution.
Along with our own expert instructors, we also have art and music specialists who come to the school frequently to work with our students.
The school excels in sports as well; three years running, we have received the School Games Gold Award.
Our athletic teams have had a lot of success.
