A small village tucked away in South Somerset between Dorset and Devon is home to The Redstart Primary School, which is located in a beautiful area of Chard.
We are a primary school with two forms of entrance and a sizable on-site daycare.
Our goal is to create a nurturing, encouraging environment where every student can reach their greatest potential.
In March 2014, OFSTED gave the school an Outstanding judgement in all areas, praising "the strong sense of collaboration clearly obvious in the school" as a positive.
We provide a variety of contemporary purpose-built facilities, including six excellent new classrooms and a fantastic kitchen, in addition to "a very supportive and cheerful learning atmosphere."
All of our teachers work together in teams to provide all of our students with high-quality learning experiences.
Redstart is well-known in the community and is a highly well-liked institution.
You would join us at a very exciting moment as a member of the recently established Redstart Learning Partnership, as the Multi-Academy Trust is offering many leadership and educational opportunities.

i used to be a student here and i have to say that it is the best primary school i have been to especially the teacher Mr Teret and Mr Robinson. if you want to send your child to a new primary school or start a school, they should go to redstart because you would have no problems
