From the The Quest School
For the purpose of offering a specialised school for children with autism, The Quest School was established in September 2003.
Autism affects children and adolescents differently, and they and their families should receive an education that is appropriate for them.
The students are the priority at Quest School, and we work to maximise their chances of accessing and integrating into mainstream community life to the fullest extent feasible, for the benefit of both themselves and their families.
The Quest School is dedicated to provide an atmosphere that is totally inclusive and that recognises and accommodates a variety of needs.
We foster a supportive, upbeat atmosphere where children feel good about themselves, are engaged in engaging activities, and are inspired to learn.
We provide our students with a comprehensive and varied educational experience while keeping a sharp focus on abilities that are crucial for their personal growth and wellbeing, including communication, behaviour, and independence skills.
We have a unique teaching approach that is founded on the fundamental ideas of behaviour science, and our curriculum is tailored individually to meet the needs of each of our students.
The Quest School is controlled by a Board of Management and overseen by an independent Board of Trustees. It is a registered charity that is "non-profit making."
