The Queensmead Primary Academy, a unit of the Greenwood Academies Trust, is pleased to welcome you.
We are a busy, yet inviting and pleasant location with a lot going on.
This website strives to give you a taste of Academy life while also regularly updating information for parents and students.
The Greenwood Academies Trust (previously known as the Greenwood Dale Foundation Trust), which was established in 2009 and now educates roughly 17,000 students across seven local authority areas, including Nottingham City, Nottinghamshire, Leicester City, Northamptonshire, Peterborough, Lincolnshire, and Central Bedfordshire, opened its doors to Queensmead Primary Academy in November 2012 as the first primary academy in Leicester City.
The Braunstone neighbourhood of Leicester has a long-standing local community that the Academy serves.
We've gone a long way and are still developing every day and every year.
The Academy is incredibly well-equipped, and each of our classes has an interactive whiteboard, overhead projectors, contemporary materials, and neat and orderly environments. All of our teachers also have laptops.
Our expansive grounds and roomy facility provide some of the best amenities for kids and parents, and we always work to update and expand these areas to meet the changing requirements of our students. The academy's leaders have high goals for the institution.
Their quick decisions have significantly raised the standard of instruction and learning. 2018 July Ofsted.
As an Academy, we want to maintain the gains we've made recently and are dedicated to raising standards and quality in a quick but lasting way.
Some of the best results published by Queensmead in its lengthy history occurred in July 2013, and we are quite pleased of this accomplishment.
For Queensmead to take on its difficulties and improve standards even higher, the stage is solidly prepared!
. The curriculum at the school is thoughtfully created to encourage students to learn and to enlarge their knowledge and skill sets. 2018 July Ofsted.
