From the School
Welcome to our school website, which I hope gives you a sense of both the basic details and the experience of being a student at QEGS. Being the headteacher of such a flourishing, encouraging, and historically rich educational community makes me feel proud and privileged. Our mission is to deliver "A World Class Education for All," and we expect to see students and staff members succeeding every day as they question, explore, give, and question. At QEGS, we value education in the broadest sense; with sport, the arts, enterprise, performance, employability skills, competition, cultural school visits and many other amazing opportunities taking equal standing with academic success. Our aim at QEGS is to prepare students for life after school, so that they will be employable, lifelong learners, and successful and happy people. We think that in order for pupils to succeed academically, their education needs to be stimulating and well-balanced so that they are both mentally and physically prepared for the challenges they will encounter. Our responsibility and privilege is to provide our kids with the resources they need to succeed. If you are interested in your child joining QEGS, in any year group and at any stage through the academic year, please contact our Admissions and Transition Team to arrange a visit, a tour, or even a taster day. We have a strong community of stakeholders as part of the QEGSMAT who are dedicated to cooperating to create a supportive learning environment, assuring ongoing success for all of our students. You can read more about our Trust here.
