From the Prenton High School for Girls
We obtained a "Good" grade from Ofsted for our overall effectiveness, student success, teaching quality, student behaviour and safety, leadership and management, and inspection conducted in March 2014 using the new framework.
I recognise that selecting the best secondary school for your daughter is among the most crucial choices you will make, and that in Wirral, where applicants must be 11 or younger, the selection process may be very stressful.
With the most crucial years of their education still to come, at the "halfway" point, we believe in making a difference to inspire and motivate all students to achieve their full potential.
All are welcome at Prenton High School for Females, and we wholeheartedly agree with the evidence showing that girls perform better in all-girls institutions.
Without a doubt, females who pick Prenton have a significant edge over those who attend a mixed-gender school.
Our mission is to "improve the possibilities and life ambitions available to the children we teach," and as you can see from our prospectus, this infuses all we do.
We strongly encourage visits to our school, so there is no need to wait for one of our Open Days.
See for yourself the focused atmosphere that Ofsted and everyone who visits the school praises.
