The Prebendal School

Children in our Pre-Prep programme get instruction from Reception to Year 2. As some parents are seeing The Prebendal for the first time because their kid is starting school in Reception, we warmly welcome the young children who are moving up from our Pelicans Nursery. Classes are small, which allows for lots of one-on-one attention, and the environment is gorgeous and family-friendly. Each child in the Pre-Prep receives individualised attention from a team of motivated teachers who are committed to giving them the greatest possible start in school. In order to assist busy families who might find it challenging to juggle the drop-off and pick-up times, we also operate Breakfast & Supper Clubs that extend beyond the hours of the typical school day. The Pre-Prep students take part in a variety of excursions that further their education. The Prebendal offers numerous chances for our young students to take in the sights and sounds of mediaeval Chichester and other nearby locations in addition to being an authorised Beach School. Because of our close ties to Chichester Cathedral, the Pre-Prep students look forward to attending concerts, assemblies, and other events there as well as for workshops. Their own plays, Sports Day, Prize Giving and concert performances add to their packed calendar with many opportunities for parents to see their work, watch their productions and admire their latest classroom projects.
