Portway Junior School

Portway Junior School is a joyful, compassionate, and forward-thinking institution. We believe that for children to achieve their potential there has to be a safe and welcoming atmosphere in school, where every child is valued. Aim High, Do Your Best, and Never Stop Learning is our school's motto. Everyone who attends Portway Junior School, whether they are children or adults, seeks to achieve this. We respect everyone, work together to learn, set high standards, jointly plan for the future, and extend a warm welcome to all. We place a lot of value on the relationship between parents and the school, and the website is one way we can do that. You will be able to find recent newsletters, holiday dates, information about each Year Group's learning, and copies of letters sent home at the touch of a button. Naturally, we will continue to use conventional methods of communication too but we hope that the web site will be a useful addition to these. We hope you enjoy browsing the site and if you have any ideas on items we can add or ways in which it can be improved, please let us know.
