All Year 11 students are living in an exciting moment. There are a tonne of opportunities in the sixth form, even though this year requires a lot of effort to succeed in the GCSE exams. Making sure each student is placed on a suitable pathway that will serve as a solid basis for their future success is a key component of the sixth form transfer process. With advice from the Year 11 tutor team, subject staff, and Sixth Form team, the students have already started thinking about their next move and will shortly be picking some early degree choices. In addition to this help and direction, parents are encouraged to attend significant interviews with members of the Sixth Form team that will be held in January with their son or daughter. Soon after the Christmas break, you will be informed of the dates and hours for these interviews. selecting subjects We recognise that during the course of the year, further guidance may lead to a few modest adjustments to a student's selected course of study. When choosing their Sixth Form courses and/or training, students are encouraged to build on their skills and earlier accomplishments, take into account their interests, and look to expand their horizons at this early stage. Additionally, we collaborate with a number of top-notch training organisations to give our vocational students access to 160 courses across the city. Please don't hesitate to get in touch with us if you have any queries concerning the admissions procedure or the services offered at the academy.
