The possibility that an infants' school was founded in Pimperne in 1827 is suggested by what may be the town's earliest record of a school.
There were 46 students, ranging in age from 18 months to 6 years.
Lord Portman donated the structure for the National School across from the church in 1832.
The current school, which had three classrooms and could hold roughly 60 students, was established in 1908.
A cook-in-charge and a kitchen helper allowed us to prepare meals for roughly 120 kids while they were on the grounds.
Reading was taught to the oldest girls at the 1827-founded Infants' School's embroidery classes.
We are thrilled that our kids are now learning in a facility designed specifically for a school.
At the beginning and conclusion of the school day, parents and guests can park here and go to the school gates, our school office, or the main entrance by following the walkway.
The future of our school, then?
I have no doubt that the brand-new structure and amenities will bring with it an endless supply of prospects and possibilities.
A school's ethos, character, faculty, and—most importantly—the constantly evolving results desired for each and every unique student who enrols help define it.
Whatever the changes or demands imposed on a school, Pimperne Primary School will continue to keep every child at the centre of its decisions as we tackle the fast-paced world of twenty-first century education.
The past and what is yet to come, the future, will eventually become history as time passes. I am confident that this history will be consistent with what has come before at Pimperne Primary School.
Those of us who were lucky enough to be included in the timeline are honoured to have played a little role in this exceptional school's history.
