We appreciate you taking the time to look at our website, which provides you with information about life at Pilsley C of E Primary School.
The Duke and Duchess of Devonshire established the school, which was first used in 1849 to educate the children of estate labourers.
We take pleasure in being both large and small enough to know each of our students individually while still being able to provide great and continually developing facilities. This creates the secure and trusting environment that is essential for a child's growth.
At Pilsley, we value the uniqueness of each person and work to develop the whole child.
As the headteacher, I am committed to providing each student with a well-rounded education that is grounded in Christian principles.
Children are taught about tolerance and acceptance, and we demand good behaviour as well as empathy and concern for others.
Therefore, we offer a wide variety of options so that each boy and girl can discover a niche in which they will excel.
Success in any endeavour boosts self-esteem and confidence, which in turn promotes achievement in other spheres, including intellectual ones.
The Christian ethos of the school, which emphasises the dignity and purity of the individual as well as the significance of the community and the world around us, serves as the foundation for everything we do.
This guarantees that we raise kids who have a solid sense of right and wrong and the confidence to stand up for what they believe in.
In order to ensure that every kid realises their academic potential, we strive to offer exceptional education at all levels.
Communication is key to the success of the collaboration between home and school that is education.
You and your child are both part of the Pilsley family, and as we encourage parents to view the faculty and I as trusted friends, you are more than welcome to stop by whenever it is convenient for both of us for a talk.
In order for you to experience firsthand the distinctive family atmosphere that exists at Pilsley Church of England Primary School and understand why I am so proud to be its Headteacher, I am looking forward to meeting you, showing you around the school, and introducing you to the staff and students.
