From the The Phoenix Primary School
Thank you for visiting The Phoenix Primary School and Nursery. We are rated exceptional in every category after our most recent Ofsted in July 2019. According to Ofsted, "inspirational leadership from the headteacher and her deputy headteacher has altered the quality of teaching delivered for students since the school became an academy in 2016." Ofsted also stated that, 'throughout the school's journey of improvement, leaders have ensured that pupils' needs have remained central and that 'children always come first'. Based on the school's motto, "come to learn, leave to accomplish," they have developed a strong culture. They take every opportunity to promote the school's own values and how they link to British values, celebrate diversity and remind pupils of the importance of respect and care for one another. The students' spiritual, moral, social, and cultural growth is considerably aided by this. We are a very active school that is welcoming and busy. This website strives to introduce you to our school while also offering current information for parents, students, and the larger community. We sincerely hope you enjoy browsing our website and discover the details you're looking for. Any questions you may have can be directed to the school directly. We will give you a print copy of the information on this website for free if you, as a parent, need one. Usually, Miss Bird or Mrs. Shambrook will answer your call when you call the school. They will aim to answer any questions you may have or, if you need to contact the Head Teacher, Deputy Head Teacher or another member of staff, they will be able to transfer your call or take a message and the member of staff you require will call you back at their earliest convenience.
