Welcome to the Our Lady's Catholic College website. We hope the information is helpful and fascinating to you and that it gives you a sense of the ambitious, progressive, prosperous, and joyful community that is Our Lady's. Being recognised as an excellent Catholic school by the Diocese of Lancaster makes us extremely happy to be one. At Our Lady's, we employ the words of Blessed Oscar Romero, "Aspire not to have more but to be more," to motivate our students to reach their full potential. This, in my opinion, best represents what we want for the children at Our Lady's. They are inspired not only to succeed academically but also to help others who are less fortunate than themselves and to use the talents and gifts that God has given them for the good of others, as Christ has commanded us to do. I love how diverse our school is, with students of all various abilities, ethnicities, and faiths. We take great pride in being an inclusive school and in having been named a Lancashire School of Sanctuary for our efforts in embracing and supporting every one of our students. I would be happy to give you a tour of Our Lady's throughout the working day if you would like to visit the school and see it for yourself. You would have the chance to observe our ebullient, self-assured pupils in the classroom along with their gifted and devoted teachers, as well as learn about how our school is progressing. We will be pleased to schedule you an appointment if you contact Catherine Rowlands by phone at 01524 66689 or email at [email protected].
