We are a selective, forward-thinking state school with academy status that has a strong track record of encouraging excellence.
Despite the fact that we have received Outstanding ratings in each of the past four Ofsted inspections, we continually review our performance and look for new approaches to improve the learning opportunities for our pupils.
We are able to provide a broad curriculum, including three languages in Year 7, thanks to our enrollment of 960 pupils, including 305 in the sixth form.
At LGGS, students exhibit exceptional behaviour and attendance, and our girls are eager, passionate, and highly motivated.
Our Duke of Edinburgh programme, which fosters resilience and teamwork, keeps expanding quite well.
Even though we are constrained to a tiny campus in the middle of the city, we utilise every square inch of space.
A purpose-built Sixth Form Center is among the latest facility upgrades that have benefited the school.
We respect our connections with a variety of schools in Europe and beyond as an international school.
140 more students will be entering Year 7 this year.
About fifty new students are admitted each year to Year 12, and almost all of them continue on to the Sixth Form after Year 11.
