Welcome to Osmaston CE (VC) Primary School, which is located outside of Ashbourne, a market town.
Our Church of England (Voluntary Controlled) village school is located in the charming village of Osmaston, just outside Ashbourne, and is primarily housed in historic structures.
The school keeps pushing for superiority in every endeavour.
We are fully devoted to achieving the greatest levels of proficiency while preserving breadth of experience via the taught curriculum and beyond. Leading with a vibrant, broad, and balanced curriculum developed for the needs of our children.
The school places a high priority on sports, and despite its modest size, its performance in a variety of team sports has helped it achieve success at the county, regional, and national levels.
The Derbyshire Schools' Sports Association has recognised Osmaston as The Primary Champion Overall School and The Primary Champion School Small School on numerous occasions.
The kids are dressed neatly in traditional uniforms and appear to be happy and confident.
The majority of this exceptional activity takes place in a school setting, whose impact has been maximised through meticulous planning.
In the trees at the rear of the field behind the school, kids participate in our Forest School programme.
In order to add more activity space, the school assumed management of the underutilised Village Hall.
Osmaston CE Primary School is still a top institution because it never stops working to provide the greatest education possible for the young students who are fortunate enough to begin their formal education in this neighbourhood.
Being the headteacher of Osmaston CE (VC) Primary School, which has been recognised as a National Teaching School, makes me extremely proud.
