As the headteacher of Oreston Community Academy, it is a great pleasure for me to introduce myself.
I was given this position in January 2019, and I'm thrilled to be a member of such a fantastic institution.
Every member of the staff is genuinely proud of the school's reputation as a very positive, wholly child-centered environment that provides all students with outstanding educational opportunities.
Staff and students put in a lot of effort to do their best work, and our school has received accolades for the great range of learning activities we offer to all of our students at Oreston to enhance our comprehensive and balanced curriculum.
We place a lot of emphasis on student voice so that all students can feel like valued members of our school community.
I am incredibly passionate about inclusion, enhancing outcomes and life chances for all kids, and pushing them to do their absolute best.
In my opinion, a school should be a place where both students and teachers are motivated to do their best work and are enthusiastic about the varied and well-balanced curriculum on offer.
As we continue to work together as a community to ensure the success of our kids, I enjoy working with everyone.
We take great pride in being a Westcountry Schools Trust partner school.
Make an appointment to visit our school, meet the staff and students, and take a tour if you are considering enrolling your kid.
