On the Isle of Wight, close to Cowes, in the centre of Northwood Village, we cordially invite you to Northwood Primary School. We are a primary school that serves students from 4 to 11 years old and operate a successful on-site pre-school. We take pride in offering a comprehensive education that meets the needs of the entire child. Will this make a difference to our children? is a question we constantly ask ourselves as we put teaching and learning at the centre of all we do. Our staff members are driven and enthusiastic people that constantly endeavour to provide the finest instruction possible. We have high standards for children's conduct and academic performance. We work hard to recognise and value each child's unique skills and to instil in our students a "can do" attitude. Our learning community is built on a common understanding of what 21st-century successful learning looks like. Along with fostering the development of our children's entrepreneurial and global consciousness, we collaborate closely with our families and the neighbourhood. There is incorrect information on here - at the last inspection in May 2017 the school was judged good in all categories and not RI for Leadership and Management! You should really get these things right as prospective families will be looking at this. Miss S Hussey - the Head Teacher !
