What We Do: Describe the PTA.
The Parent Teacher Association is a welcoming group of parents who give their time to support the school and its staff while also ensuring that all of its students receive the best possible education.
In what ways does the PTA help the school?
One way to become engaged and make an impact is by being a leader in your PTA: We organise activities and events to raise money for educational initiatives. Our activities during the course of the 2017–18 academic year helped the school raise a total of $2469.82.
We offer parents a network of social support.
2019 Autumn Festival We were finally treated favourably by the weather, and the rain briefly ceased enough that we could take in yet another magnificent Northern fireworks display.
The chocolate tombola was completely sold out in the first hour, and the hot dogs and light sticks were a big hit.
2019 Summer Fair What a huge success the fair was this year!
Both kids and adults liked playing the activities, and the lucky bags again sold out in the first 25 minutes.
On the PTA email address, [email protected], the PTA is glad to receive suggestions for the event for the following year.
Family Quiz Night - our first Family Quiz night was great fun, with 11 teams taking part.
Team Unicorn and Team Wing It and Scarper came top and entered a tense tie breaker question - how many miles long to the nearest mile is the River Nile?
Dates of meetings: Next meeting date is Tuesday 30th April at 6:30pm upstairs at Anna's.
The May Fair planning will be discussed at this meeting.
