From the Newton Ferrers Church of England Primary School
Welcome to the Church of England Primary School in Newton Ferrers. Children in Newton Ferrers and Noss Mayo have access to a school since at least 1874. On February 14th, 2003, we had the honour of moving into our new school building. With the addition of our on-site Pre-School, the school's age range expanded in 2019 to include children from 3 to 11 years old. The school has exceptional facilities; six classrooms (including a secure outdoor area for our younger children),The Burrow (including before and after school club), library, resource area, offices and large hall. With a pond, school garden, greenhouse, playing field, and playground, the large school grounds make for an excellent outdoor learning environment. With strong ties to the people, groups, businesses, and churches in both towns, our Church school is happy to play a significant role in local life. For the benefit of each child, parents are strongly urged to collaborate with the school.
