The Newton Bluecoat C.E. Primary and Nursery School would like to welcome you. We aim to create a secure and happy school where children can develop lively and enquiring minds, in a safe, stimulating and secure environment. We take great effort to respect every child as a unique part of our school community and to inspire everyone to pursue greatness and realise their full potential. We place a strong focus on our children becoming kind and respectful members of the local and global community as well as on helping them become aware of Christian values. We work hard to give each of our students a great education in a nurturing, engaging, and inspiring learning environment. Staff, governors, and parents collaborate closely to support us in achieving this goal, with additional assistance coming from the Diocese of Blackburn and the nearby parish church of St. John, Lund. As a Church of England school, we are committed to upholding Christian principles in all facets of school life. Children ages 3 to 11 attend our primary school, which is joyful and successful. Seven classes have about 220 students enrolled each. Our school has a variety of great learning support aides who work across the school supporting and boosting children's learning as needed in addition to our highly qualified teaching staff. We believe this has all the information you require. But come and see for yourself if you don't want to just take our word for it. We would be happy to give you a tour of the school while it is in session. We have excellent before and after school clubs on the campus that offer wraparound care from 7:35 am to 5:30 pm, as well as nursery facilities with morning and afternoon programmes (lunch is also provided). For children who are 3 or 4 years old, we currently have space in our nursery. Contact Mrs Seed (Business Manager) on 01772 684415 for a visit today.
