Newlands Primary School

All of our kids are valued as individuals at Newlands. We place a premium on the holistic development of the child, and everything we do reflects this goal. Being a small school, we take great satisfaction in our close ties to the local community. We are well aware of the needs of our kids, and we put in a lot of effort to make sure that, working with families, we give them a well-rounded education that will get them ready for the future. All of our students can benefit from positive outdoor experiences thanks to our beautiful grounds. Students at Newlands regard themselves as world citizens who can draw parallels between their own lives and other people's. At our school, outdoor learning is a crucial component of the curriculum. On Years 3, 4, 5, and 6, all of our students participate in residential trips. Our school offers a comprehensive and balanced curriculum with an emphasis on rich, contextualised learning that takes students year after year on a journey to academic achievement. We place a strong focus on the environment, the great outdoors, and our shared obligation to shape the future. The conduct is "excellent." Our highly customised framework is governed by the UNICEF "Rights Respecting" ethos and a set of unambiguous moral principles known as "the golden rules." As a UNICEF school, we are dedicated to promoting equality of rights, shared responsibility, and respect for one another. Children at Newlands learn about their wider responsibilities and work hard to live up to our high standards.
