Students who receive a top-notch geography education should develop a lifelong curiosity and passion for the planet and the people who inhabit it.
Teaching should give students a thorough understanding of the major physical and human processes that shape the Earth, as well as information of a variety of locations, people, resources, and habitats.
Pupils must know, use, and comprehend the concepts, abilities, and procedures outlined in the pertinent programme of study by the conclusion of each key stage.
Students will gain understanding of the world, the UK, and their community.
Identify the United Kingdom and its nations as well as the nations, continents, and oceans covered at this important level by using world maps, atlases, and globes.
Use vocabulary to explain the placement of features and routes on a map, such as near and distant, left and right, and the simple compass directions of North, South, East, and West.
Create a rudimentary map, utilise and create simple symbols in a key, and identify landmarks and fundamental human and physical elements using aerial pictures and plan perspectives.
