Welcome to Mossley Hollins High School, a joyful, intellectually challenging, and welcoming institution that is enthusiastic about education and glad to be at the centre of the neighbourhood. A very effective co-educational, maintained school, Mossley Hollins is committed to assisting kids in becoming capable, successful, and responsible people who can take an active role in society. Floret Qui Laborat is the adage used at our institution (he or she who labours, prospers). Our sincerely held principles of courtesy, diligence, and integrity are at the core of everything we do. Regardless of their background or prior accomplishments, we truly think that these qualities, along with the best in contemporary curriculum design and innovative teaching and learning, enable our students to succeed. We help individuals who have fallen behind in primary school to "catch-up" while challenging the most talented students to pursue the new, prestigious Grade 9 credentials at the GCSE level. At Mossley Hollins we believe that success should be measured both by academic progress and achievement, but also by one's personal and social development and one's contribution to our community and to society. Because of this, we support and recognise students who are eager to contribute, serve, and take the lead. Along with academic success, we want to help our students build strong character traits that will benefit them throughout their life.
