I have had 3 of my children attend Mossbourne Academy. Academically all 3 have excelled in their academics. All 3 have achieved great GCSE results and 2 have achieved great A level results and gone on to attend top universities. The 3rd child is currently in the 6th form and we are expecting that he too will achieve a great set of results. All this would not be possible without the support of dedicated teachers...
Everything about the school is amazing. It has supportive teachers, amazing education system etc. The only complaint i have is that the food they give is not halal unless you pick the halal food for example baguettes, pasta etc. Other than that this school is amazing and deserves whatever ofsted report it got
Most of the teachers are great but have to work in a really toxic culture. The Management however is truly awful: unprofessional, disrespectful, uncommunicative, lacking any empathy or compassion. They hold parents and pupils to ridiculously high standards that they absolutely do not role model.Yes your child might get good grades but likely at the expense of their mental health.
