From the School
For students between the ages of 11 and 18, Morpeth is a coed school. We received the grade of "Outstanding" for the second time in a row during our most recent Ofsted inspection. The school was rated "excellent" in every category, including "student achievement," "behaviour," and "quality of teaching." We believe our success is built upon the professionalism and commitment of all our staff teaching and support - and a shared set of values. With a healthy balance of boys and girls from all racial and cultural groups in our borough, we take pride in reflecting the demographics of Tower Hamlets. We consider the pleasant interactions between all of those groups, as well as between students and staff, to be one of the school's strengths. Morpeth has benefited from significant investment in its structures and landscaping and now offers first-rate facilities of which we can all rightfully be proud. Our exam scores at the GCSE level are still higher than the national average, and sixth-formers from Morpeth have advanced to prestigious universities. More details regarding our students' accomplishments can be found in the sections titled "Sixth Form Destinations" and "Exam Results 2017." We are happy to give families and guests any additional information they require since we are proud of our school community. If you have any additional questions, don't be afraid to get in touch with us.
