We sincerely think that Moorthorpe Primary School is like a family, and we collaborate with parents and the school to ensure that each child receives the best possible education. We are fortunate to have very supportive parents and governors and we strive to work together to give every child a happy and rewarding primary school experience and positive memories that will last long into adulthood. We place equal value on excellent spiritual care and academic accomplishment. We support a creative curriculum that is comprehensive and balanced and emphasises each child's individual talents. We have an improving record of academic results in English and Mathematics but we also prioritise drama, music, sports and the arts and give children many opportunities to shine both within and beyond the school day. Our goal is to make kids successful, enthusiastic learners. We also assist kids in developing the fundamental abilities that will enable them to become future happy, healthy, and confident adults as well as responsible citizens.
