Montgomery Infant School and Nursery works to foster each student's uniqueness in a happy and respectful atmosphere while inspiring and empowering every member of the school community to realise their full potential as lifelong learners. Every child is treated equitably and has the same access to speaking up and having their opinions heard. Through the School Council, children have the chance to express their opinions. The "Golden Rules" of the school are explained to all of the kids. Children are taught the importance of following the rules as well as what happens if they don't. Children are encouraged to push their own learning through a variety of activities, including some that are accessible from home, and all classrooms are designed to encourage independence. How to stay safe is taught to kids. The curriculum, which includes the hidden curriculum, as well as assemblies are used to teach kids how to respect others even if their thoughts and opinions differ from their own. We take great pride in the vast cultural diversity that our families offer to the school and in the "Montgomery Family," which we celebrate. This is backed up by our RE instruction and public gatherings.
