We are a welcoming, compassionate neighbourhood in South Shields' Simonside neighbourhood. Since 1965, when our school first opened its doors to students, we have welcomed numerous generations of families. At Monkton Junior School, one thing is most important to us. our students. We are incredibly proud of their diligence, creativity, and civility. With the help of the diligent work of our committed school personnel, we work to provide the greatest results for everyone. Everything we do is based on school development to give our students the finest education possible. We take ourselves in having a welcoming, approachable staff and are always happy to assist.
