Welcome to our website. I feel especially fortunate to work in a school with so many wonderful students, helpful teachers and governors, and kind parents. Many people have said that Milldown Academy is a wonderful location where they feel at "home." Our mission statement at Milldown, "Inspire, Believe, Achieve," guides everything we do to build a thriving Church of England primary school. Parents, teachers, and kids all feel "motivated" and have high hopes for what they may accomplish. We foster an environment that allows kids and adults to learn and grow by recognising that every child is individually created in God's image. Our exciting, diverse, spiritually nourishing, and timely curriculum promotes independent learning abilities that will better equip the kids for life in the twenty-first century. Our students actively participate in their education, "think" they can improve both their own lives and that of others, and have high aspirations. We aspire to "achieve" success within a Christian context as a Church of England school by offering a diverse, rich, and engaging curriculum. In addition to learning about and understanding Christianity, the kids also become aware of and appreciate other religions. Our website has been created to offer you a taste of who we are, so I hope you find everything you need there. We are a welcoming institution with an open door policy, as I've already indicated.
